A little bit about me...
From an early age I knew I always wanted to pursue a career in the arts, always doodling away or with a camera in hand. I started studying photography at the age of 15 in high school and was instantly hooked. I would spend any spare moment in the darkroom, simply fascinated at how a bunch of chemicals could transform a piece of photographic paper into a wonderful image. Dozens and dozens of rolls of film later, I eventually earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Photomedia) from University of NSW, Australia in 2000.
After university, I branched out and continued studying, completing a Certificate in graphic design from the Technical and Further Education Commission (TAFE). I continued on to work extensively as a freelance photographer and graphic designer.
In 2007, I moved to London where I specialised in Membership Marketing, which was a wonderful way to utilise all my creative skills and taught me some invaluable ones, since design and marketing go hand-in-hand. As well as undertaking photography and graphic design projects, the job also focused on brand management and direct marketing (e-newsletters and e-alerts).
I am now currently based in Hong Kong, where I have been freelancing since 2012.
My latest passion is creating bespoke, handmade cards for momentous occassions such as weddings, births and engagements. I thoroughly enjoy creating unique stationery to make every special moment come to life and meet every client's satisfaction.
Besides creating beautiful cards, photographing unforgettable moments and designing artwork, my passions also include travelling and indulging in culinary delights.
I look forward to working with you!
